Freedom Behavioral Hospital is hiring for an IOP - Nurse Coordinator!!
Freedom Behavioral Monroe facility is an 82-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing specialized mental and behavioral health services for the geriatric and adult population. The hospital delivers a comprehensive range of care, including both inpatient and outpatient treatment options, designed to support the unique needs of older adults.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage admissions process for new program members
- Complete physician rounds as needed
- Complete required documentation timely
- Manage the patient medications prescribed by physician
- Calling in medications as instructed
- Monitoring needed labs for drug levels as needed
- Complete UR review duties on program members as needed
- Ensure all billing charges are entered by close of business Fridays
- Participate in community events to promote the program
- Assist with assessments of individuals referred to program
- Be willing to conduct education groups in the program and out in the community as needed to promote relationships with referral sources – accompanying SSD/SDD
- Market the program
- We market an initial 30-mile radius for the IOP
- Can go up to 50-mile radius
- When census is down the job can/will be 60% marketing the program to facilities. Will be given the locations
- Will participate in and host activities at facilities
When IOP duties are complete, will be expected to assist with other duties/areas in the hospital to include but not limited to:
_____ Rounds with physicians on Unit A and/or B
_____ Assist with stocking medical supplies, snacks, and office supplies
_____ Assist HIM with scanning medical records
