Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions, a leading Behavioral Health Clinic that provides a vast range of Mental Health Services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic team. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting clinical operations, patient care, and ensuring a seamless experience for individuals seeking TMS, Spravato and other behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Support:
- Assist in patient intake processes, including obtaining medical history, verifying insurance information, and ensuring necessary documentation is complete.
- Provide empathetic and caring assistance to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Clinical Assistance:
- Collaborate with the clinical team to prepare treatment rooms and equipment for TMS sessions, among other treatments.
- Support clinicians during TMS procedures and behavioral health interventions as needed.
Medical Records:
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist in organizing and updating medical documentation and charts.
Appointment Scheduling:
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling logistics.
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions.
Insurance Coordination:
- Work closely with the administrative team to verify insurance coverage and process billing information.
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and documentation.
Patient Education:
- Provide basic information to patients about TMS procedures and behavioral health services.
- Offer educational materials and resources to enhance patient understanding.
Collaborative Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively with clinicians, administrative staff, and other medical aids to ensure a cohesive and efficient clinical environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical assisting is a plus.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Empathy and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
