Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions. As an LCSW, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health assessments, therapy, and case management services to clients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' strengths, needs, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities and client-centered approaches.
- Provide ongoing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and interpersonal conflicts.
- Collaborate closely with clients, their families, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate care, monitor progress, and ensure continuity of services.
- Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Provide advocacy and support services to help clients access community resources, entitlements, and social services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure quality of care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices, emerging research, and trends in the field of clinical social work.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Alaska.
- Minimum of 1 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing therapy and case management services in a mental health or behavioral health setting.
- Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and social justice in clinical practice.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skill
