This is a full-time, on-site position for a Line Technician, based at the Lynchburg Regional Airport in Lynchburg, VA. The Line Technician will be responsible for providing ground support services, including aircraft fueling, towing, and parking. Core duties also include assisting with aircraft inspections, monitoring fuel quality, maintaining hangars and airfield equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. Exceptional customer service is a key aspect of the role, as the Line Technician will interact directly with pilots and passengers to meet their needs while adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
- Experience in operating ground support equipment, such as tugs and fueling trucks
- Basic technical skills related to aircraft fueling, towing, and inspection tasks
- Customer service skills to ensure excellent interactions with pilots and passengers
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in an aviation environment
- Physical stamina to work outdoors and handle moderate physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Aviation experience or certifications are preferred but not required
