Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Full Time

Freedom 1st Medical Transport is currently looking for compassionate and hard working individuals to join our team as EMTs for full-tims work in Greenville, SC. Full-time typical 4 day work week, some Saturdays required.

We have openings for both opening and early shifts. Hours vary by call volume, but the typical workday ends between 5-6pm. 8 to 12 hour shifts.
Starting Pay: $18.00 /hr and up based on experience

MAIN FUNCTION:

Provide patient assessment, treatment and transportation for ill and injured patients in a courteous, professional manner.

DUTIES:

• Performs basic life support skills.
• Abides by all Freedom 1st policies and procedures.
• Keeps ambulance and emergency equipment clean and in operating condition.
• Write patient reports, ambulance, service bills and other pertinent paperwork in accordance with Freedom 1st paperwork policy.
• Assists with the functional operations of the company.
• Attends in-service classes on a regular basis or provide adequate documentation of DHEC approved in-service training with another organization.
• Keeps the Base clean and orderly.
• Comply with Appearance, Grooming and Uniform Policies at all times.
• Must be willing to perform the duties listed above and other duties as assigned.
• Must comply with all Corporate Compliance Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be certified by the State of South Carolina as an EMT-Basic or higher level.
• Must maintain State Certification at all times.
• Must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which the employee currently resides.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
