This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hampton, VA, for a Veterinary Receptionist. The Veterinary Receptionist will manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, handling phone calls, greeting clients, and processing payments. Additional responsibilities include educating clients on basic animal care, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
- Strong skills in Appointment Scheduling and Phone Etiquette to efficiently manage client interactions and schedules.
- Effective Communication abilities and experience in Client Education to ensure client understanding of services and animal care.
- Basic knowledge of Animal Care and compassion for pets to address customer concerns and questions appropriately.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a veterinary or medical office, or receptionist position, is a plus.
- Proficiency using office management systems and computer applications is highly desirable.
- Friendly demeanor and the ability to provide a positive experience for clients and their pets.
