Freebirds World Burrito is looking for back of house crew – grillers, cooks, food preps, dishwashers – who are willing to bring the heat! Our mission is to deliver craveable food, and this cannot be done without the hard work and commitment of the back of house crew. This team prepares fresh food, maintains clean workstations, and has supportive attitudes. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Cook and prepare food
- High volume grilling and cutting
- Follow recipes to maintain food quality and consistency
- Correctly label and rotate food, ensuring proper portions are made
- Display teamwork by setting up the next shift for success
- Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
- Clean and maintain kitchen, dish pit, and prep area
- Comfortable working with large kitchen equipment
- Required completion for all kitchen certifications in our BOH training program
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Previous cooking experience and proper knife skills, preferred
- Ability to work at a fast pace, keep up with high volume workload, and multitask
- Deliver craveable food through recipe adherence and food quality standards
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Must get a food handlers certification upon hire
- Upon hire, must get validated for our back of house procedures – Become a Master Griller!
- Must be at least 18 years or older

- Nonslip shoes are mandatory to wear starting on the first day of training
