Retail Associate / Cashier (Cross-Training Opportunity)

We’re not just looking for someone to stand at a register — we’re looking for someone who can actually show up, step in, and be part of a team.

Free Style Mercantile is a busy convenience store with a take-out kitchen, and we need someone dependable who can handle the day-to-day while being willing to learn more. This is primarily a cashier/retail position, but we cross-train so you’re never just “standing around.”

What You’ll Do:

• Ring out customers and provide solid, friendly service
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Stock shelves, coolers, and keep the store looking sharp
• Clean and maintain a well-organized workspace
• Jump in to help with kitchen tasks when needed (we’ll train you)
• Work as part of a team and follow direction from management

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who is reliable — shows up on time, every time
• Strong work ethic (you don’t need to be told what needs to be done)
• Comfortable staying busy and switching tasks throughout the shift
• Team-first mindset — no egos, no drama
• Willingness to learn both retail and light kitchen work
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Previous retail or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required
