Role Responsibilities
- Ensure the success of the Apparel division by meeting or exceeding sales, IMU, and inventory expectations
- Clearly communicate and provide reporting and analysis weekly to highlight performance to budget, class plans, report on important trends or key initiatives
- Plan monthly buys in partnership with merchant, sales team, and buyers utilizing buyroll tool and considering booking history, current category/item sales, and on the floor sales
- Run and own the open to buy for Apparel; report on monthly to senior management
- Effectively manage replenishment business through ladder planning and analysis
- Operate independently, demonstrate sound decision-making, and assume ownership of deliverables and project results
- Build strong partnerships thru constant communication and collaboration with merchant and sales team
- Understand and quantify the financial impact of any significant new, growing, and declining categories
- Independently run and distribute weekly and month end reports for owned division and brand
- Systems expert and partnering with IT on troubleshooting
