What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doctor of Physical Therapy – 1-on-1 Cash-Based position at Free Motion?
Model: 1-on-1 Care (No Double-Booking)
At Free Motion PT, we know why you became a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You wanted to solve complex problems and move people toward their goals—not spend 4 hours a day fighting insurance companies or managing three patients at once.
We are a cash-based, manual therapy-focused clinic that values your brain and your hands. If you are looking for a "Clinical Home" where you have the time, the tools, and the team to deliver the best care of your career, let’s talk.
The "Free Motion" Advantage for DPTs:
True Clinical Sovereignty: You are the captain. You design the treatment plans without corporate "unit" pressure.
1-on-1 Sessions (45–60 Mins): No double-booking. You see your patient from start to finish.
Mentorship & Collaboration: We foster a "Mastermind" environment. Regular collaboration hours with the team to discuss tough cases and sharpen manual techniques.
Focus on Results, Not Codes: Because we are cash-based, you treat the patient, not the insurance policy.
Large Arsenal of Modalities and Health & Wellness Equipment to use to aide your patients results and functions.
The Perks:
Competitive Salary: Base pay plus a performance-based incentive structure that rewards your growth.
Health Benefits: 50% match.
Professional Development: Annual CEU credits , License Renewals and dedicated on-site mentorship/training.
Time to Recharge: 40 hours PTO (increases annually) 24 hours Sick Time Annually.
What We’re Looking For:
A Florida-licensed DPT with a passion for Manual Therapy and Functional Movement.
A "Problem Solver" who enjoys the challenge of outpatient orthopedics.
Someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy, and lighthearted environment.
An interest in the business side of a cash-based practice is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop high-level treatment plans.
Deliver expert-level manual therapy and corrective exercise.
Mentor and collaborate with our PTA and Technician team to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain "quality-first" SOAP documentation (that actually makes sense).
