Youth and Family Behavior Coach

Who are We

At Free Life Wellness Center, we’re more than a behavioral health agency, we’re a people-powered movement. We provide community-based, trauma-informed care to youth and families across Arizona. Our team creates safe, healing-centered spaces where children areseen, supported, and empowered to grow, especially those navigating tough seasons like foster care, mental health challenges, or trauma.

We believe in solutions, and continuity of care, that honor culture, identity, and lived experience. Support that empowers, and creates collaboration between families, professionals, and community partners.

Who You Are

You're someone who believes that healing and growth happen through connection, compassion, and consistency. You’re passionate about supporting individuals, especially youth and families, as they work through challenges and build stronger, healthier lives.

You bring a grounded, professional presence, and you know how to meet people where they are. Whether you’re in a client’s home, out in the community, or supporting a group session, you carry yourself with intention, empathy, and a genuine commitment to care.

You Might be a Great Fit If…

  • You’re dependable and show up ready to support.
  • You’re flexible and comfortable with change, no two days are the same.
  • You’re open to learning, asking questions, and receiving feedback to grow.
  • You take documentation seriously, even if you’re still building confidence with it.
  • You’re respectful, professional, and know how to adjust in different environments: homes, schools, group settings, and more.
  • You care about people, not just the job. You lead with empathy and patience.
  • You want to be part of something bigger than yourself , helping families, supporting clients, and contributing to a growing team

About the Role:

As a Youth and Family Behavior Coach, you’ll be a steady presence in the lives of children and families navigating challenges. You Will:

  • Use positive, trauma-informed approaches to address difficult behaviors
  • Support parents with alternative tools and approaches

  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, schools, and other providers
  • Participate in CFT meetings, offer insight, and advocate for client progress
  • Keep detailed documentation to track outcomes and celebrate wins
  • Be mobile! Most coaching happens in the community and in homes (within 25 miles)
