Overview

As our Office Assistant in Mankato, you'll be a key member of our support team, blending polished client service with hands-on office management. Ideal candidates bring a zest for learning, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a knack for detail that ensures our operations run seamlessly. If you're ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic legal setting this is a perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Projecting a professional, friendly image by providing efficient, courteous service to clients and others via telephone or in person
• Performs general office duties such as making deliveries, running errands and maintaining office supplies and equipment
• Opens the offices and unlocks the doors and prepares the reception area for closing
• General office administration
• Assisting with computer equipment and office moves
• Administrative support as needed to the legal administrative assistants (LAAs)and the attorneys
• Word Processing
• Microsoft office work including letter writing etc.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
  
  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• High school diploma
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 2010 Suite and proficiency with desktop technologies.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Client-service focus
• Self-motivation with a professional, “can-do” approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior law firm experience a plus but not necessary.

Other Role Information

• Standard work hours Monday through Friday, standard between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a commitment to financial accuracy.
