Overview
We are seeking an attorney with 5 years of broad-based corporate and transactional experience to join our growing office in Mankato, Minnesota. No book of business is needed, but strong client service skills are required. The ideal candidate is looking for a shareholder-track position, and comes with opportunities to immediately step into client relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong transactional experience serving general corporate, agribusiness, commercial transaction, and finance transaction needs for clients in a wide variety of industries.
This position provides the opportunity to enjoy challenging and sophisticated legal work with dynamic and collaborative teams, with the benefits of comprehensive large law firm support while living and working in a vibrant regional hub just 60 miles from the Twin Cities.
Our Ideal Candidates Will Have

The estimated starting annual pay range for an associate in this position would be $200,000-$221,000 for 1,775 hours. Higher startingcompensation may be offered to an attorney with more experience than anassociate and/or a portable book of business. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate’s experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.

- Prior experience in private practice
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills
- Strong academic background
- J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly get admitted in the state of Minnesota
