Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers during patient visits, ensuring all clinical tasks are performed efficiently and accurately. Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs, updating medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly. Provide excellent customer service by scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing check-in/check-out processes with professionalism. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with privacy regulations. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and other healthcare staff to facilitate seamless care delivery.
Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Certification in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
