Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Develop new pastry recipes and innovate existing ones to enhance menu offerings
• Ensure all baked items meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for ingredients and supplies
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive and appealing dessert menus
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and dessert presentation
• Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
