What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stadium Operations internship position at Fredericksburg Nationals?
- Maintains a first-class facility including all necessary stadium maintenance.
- Duties include, but are not limited to, the long range facility planning, facility cleaning following games/events, banquet set-up, inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, general facility upkeep, and other duties as assigned.
- Assisting in supervising, scheduling, the training part-time staff and interns.
- Maintaining the interior and exterior appearance of the stadium.
- Helping coordinate all parking lot duties, payment taking, staffing, and parking of cars.
- Assist in facility preparation for 66 home games and events.
- Aid in daily operations and maintenance of a 5,000-seat ballpark.
- Adhere to guidelines set forth for labor budget and facility expenditures.
- Safe operation of small engine equipment (leaf blower, string trimmers, etc.)
- Assist the Director of Stadium Operations concerning ballpark improvements, expenses, stadium incidents, employees, and special events.
- Assist with tarp pulls when weather requires the field to be covered
- Desire to deliver exceptional customer service
