Sales Assistant
Location: Fredericksburg / Luckenbach, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $15.00/hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

About the Role
The Sales Assistant will support the Sales Team in daily operations including customer communication, order management, and coordination of sales activities. In addition to sales duties, this role includes cross-training in administrative and shipping functions, ensuring flexibility and smooth operations across departments
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Handle incoming wholesale calls and process orders in the system
- Schedule sales appointments and road trips for associates and managers
- Maintain customer records and update CRM after every interaction
- Enter and manage orders in inventory control software
- Assist sales reps with travel planning and logistics, including mapping routes and booking accommodations
- Help identify and research new sales territories and potential accounts to support business growth
- Support outside sales events (festivals, conventions, in-store promotions)
- Learn to process retail website orders through Shopify, including reviewing, fulfilling, and communicating with customers as needed
- Support retail customers via Shopify and incoming calls
Cross-Training in Admin & Shipping Departments
- Assist with order packing, labeling, and shipping preparation during high-volume periods
- Help manage shipping documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained
- Fill in on basic administrative duties when team members are out (phone coverage, email responses, etc.)
- Learn shipping software and procedures to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
Other Duties
- Make occasional local deliveries to customers
- Propose ideas for improving sales processes and office efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service for order inquiries and account support
What We're Looking For
- Fast learner with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Works and Google Workspace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support other departments when needed
Requirements
- Must be able to commute or relocate to Fredericksburg, TX 78624
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- In-person work required
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
