Description
The Clinical Lead/Office Manager will perform all duties of a Medical Assistant and function as a resource person to staff. We are seeking a strong, motivated, and experienced medical assistant leader for a dual role supporting both the clinical and operational needs of our medical office.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
- Medication reconciliation and documentation
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Assisting providers with examinations and procedures
- Performing clinical duties within scope of practice
- Completing clinical tasks, messages, referrals, and orders
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other Medical Assistants.
- Partner with the Site Partner in overseeing daily office operations.
- Assist with opening/closing and ensuring the office is prepared for daily operations.
- Help monitor patient flow, provider schedules, staffing levels, and overall office efficiency.
- Assist with tracking office metrics and identifying operational concerns.
- Help ensure staff are following established policies and procedures.
- Assist with supply ordering, inventory management, and maintaining appropriate clinical supplies
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and implementation of new workflows.
- Help identify operational challenges and work collaboratively to develop solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, providers, and the PSC.
- Assist the Site Partner with special projects and other operational responsibilities as assigned.
