Experienced based rates starting at $17.00-$19.00/hour, PLUS an additional $1.00 in shift differential when working weekends!

What You’ll Do
- Prepare meals and accompaniments following recipes and preparation sheets for dining room service, healthcare center, Bistro, and special events
- Work varied shifts preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, soups, and sauces
- Operate Bistro stations including grill, fryer, deli, and pizza
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques
- Follow safety and sanitation rules and practices
- Work independently with proper guidance
- Consult with the Chef or Manager on unusual problems and take appropriate action
- Perform hot food preparation, including accompaniments and garnishes
- Perform advance preparation as needed
- Ensure plated food is visually appealing and meets recipe standards
- Complete food temperature checks and taste all prepared items
- Record preparation details and store food items properly at the end of service
- Clean work areas and kitchen equipment used in food preparation
- Follow proper procedures for lifting, bending, and general kitchen safety
- Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, staff, and self
- Follow the organization’s code of conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- 3 years cooking experience in a healthcare or food service setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence
- Commitment to person-centered care and excellent customer service
