This role promotes a homelike atmosphere and supports person-centered care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.What You’ll DoPerform resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistanceAssist with restorative nursing programsObserve and report changes in resident condition to the Team Leader or Nurse SupervisorComplete all required documentation accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, self, and staffParticipate in resident care conferences and care plan reviewsCollaborate with hall partners and other Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal resident outcomesComply with infection control practicesConduct or assist in resident life enrichment activitiesMaintain walkie-talkie on person for effective call bell management and team communicationAttend and complete all required in-services, training, and team meetingsAbide by the organization’s code of conductPerform other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or graduate of a CNA program (certificate must be obtained within 120 days)High school diploma or equivalentBasic computer skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellenceCommitment to person-centered care initiativesAbility to work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive relationshipsFlexible schedule with willingness to work extra hours as neededWhy You’ll Love Working at Frederick LivingAt Frederick Living, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven team committed to compassion, respect, and integrity.
