About the Role

The Urology Advanced Practice Provider serves as a trusted clinician and clinical resource, working collaboratively with urologists and multidisciplinary hospital teams to evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions.

A primary focus of this position is responding to and assisting with urology consultations from the Emergency Department and inpatient services, completing initial patient assessments, developing care recommendations in collaboration with the urologist, and facilitating appropriate diagnostic testing, treatment, procedures, and follow-up.

The APP will also assist with inpatient rounding, postoperative care, discharge planning, and coordination with the outpatient urology practice to promote continuity of care and timely follow-up.

This role combines clinical autonomy with direct physician collaboration and provides an opportunity to develop advanced expertise in the evaluation and management of hospitalized patients with urologic conditions.
