Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including commercial spaces, hospitality venues, or institutional facilities.
• Lead and motivate a team of janitorial staff, ensuring they adhere to established cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Develop work schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to meet operational goals.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
• Train new staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
• Oversee laundry operations when applicable, ensuring timely processing and quality standards are met.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in custodial services or janitorial management within hospitality or commercial settings.
• Extensive cleaning background with knowledge of various cleaning techniques including commercial cleaning and housekeeping management.
• Experience in managing teams, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.08 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
