Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to support our growing operations team. This individual will play a key role in managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities across our 3PL network. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, including freight forwarding, transportation scheduling, and warehouse management.
- Partner with 3PL providers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, shipment tracking, and inventory control.
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage shipment data, optimize routing, and maintain visibility throughout the supply chain.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers and vendors to achieve cost savings and maintain service quality.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs documentation, and import/export laws.
- Analyze logistics performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues, and customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and reporting metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, ideally in a 3PL environment.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Proficiency with TMS, WMS, and related logistics or ERP software.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities with experience managing carrier/vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, shipping documentation, and import/export compliance (a plus).
