About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions. This position plays a key role in managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, maintaining vendor and customer relationships, and contributing to smooth month-end closes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in compliance with company policies.
- Manage customer billing, cash applications, and collections to maintain accurate receivables and strong cash flow.
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, chargebacks, or unapplied cash items.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer master records in accounting systems.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports for payables and receivables; escalate overdue items as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing reconciliations, schedules, and reports.
- Assist with audit preparation, providing documentation and explanations for transactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure accounting accuracy.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
