Salary
Under the Fair Labor and Standards Act this position is non-exempt from overtime. Actual salary placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the Frederick County Public School System. Please see linked salary scale for the full range.
Role
Under the direction of the shop foreman, the skilled Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for performing mechanical repairs and general maintenance on buses, trucks, and automobiles.
Essential Functions
Reporting directly to the Shop Foreman, the Vehicle Mechanic performs the following duties :
Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead Vehicle Mechanic or Shop Foreman.
Please Note : Selected candidate must satisfactorily pass the appropriate medical examination for the position.
