What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Attendant position at Frederick County Local Government?
- Responsible for overall facility cleanliness.
- Open and close the facility.
- Serve as liaison between participants, volunteers, staff, and FCPRD.
- Represent FCPRD and follow department policies and procedures.
- Assist officials, scorekeepers, and instructors with enforcement of league/program rules as needed.
- Develop positive working relationships with participants, contracted organizations, and other staff.
- Ensure the smooth operation of programs and the facility.
- Set up and tear down equipment for multiple sports and activities.
- Prepare the facility for scheduled activities and rentals.
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application. General knowledge of various sports. Skilled in customer service, organization, and decision-making. - First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is required upon hire.
