Core Hours:
basicREC Before & After School Care
6:15 AM - 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Two (2) days a week Office Hours: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
basicREC Summer Camp Program
6:15 AM - 6:00 PM
Overtime required on field trip, pool day, and/or playground day
As a basicREC Site Coordinator, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of innovative recreation activities tailored for elementary school aged children.
- Liaison between the parents/guardians and our part-time basicREC Program Assistant at the school site.
- Supervise and inspire part-time basicREC Program Assistant and activity participants to deliver top-notch experience to children and parents/guardians.
- Procure necessary materials, supplies, and snacks.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the school site, ensuring all materials are accounted for and well-maintained.
- Assist in budget planning and management to ensure programs are well-funded and sustainable.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 1 year of experience in childcare, early childhood recreational programs, Montessori, and/or related fields.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse youth groups.
- Independent decision-making capabilities, with the confidence to take initiative.
- Excellent communication, time management skills, and a mind for creativity.
- Possess or be willing to obtain MAT certification within 6 months of employment.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.
