Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
As an Accounting Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee and reconcile the County’s trial balance, financial entries, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate key audit processes, including preparation of supporting documentation and cost allocations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and perform year-end closing activities within accounting software.
- Reconcile major financial accounts, including collaboration with the Treasurer’s Office, School Board, and fiscal agents.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance for specialized reporting, including CSA reimbursements, proffers, and detention center audit data.
- 5 years of governmental accounting (local, state, federal, or government contractor)
- Deep understanding of governmental accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Assertive communicator capable of upholding internal controls and enforcing compliance with professionalism.
- Ability to manage complex responsibilities independently while contributing effectively in team settings.
