General Manager

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is a fast-growing franchise known for fresh steakburgers, hand-spun frozen custard, and friendly, high-energy service. Our Odessa team is looking for a General Manager who can lead with heart, run a tight operation, and make Freddy's the go-to spot in the community.

The General Manager oversees all restaurant operations, including financial performance, product production, inventory, personnel, sales, and marketing. You will make sure the restaurant runs within the operational guidelines set by the owner and franchisor while building a team that delivers an outstanding guest experience every day.

• Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance.
• Ensure all PRIDE systems and routines are built into day-to-day operations.
• Develop and achieve the restaurant's game plan in partnership with your District Manager (DM).
• Ensure guest service in all areas meets company standards.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and take appropriate action to resolve problems and maintain satisfaction.
• Build relationships with the local chamber of commerce, schools, and community groups to drive restaurant sales.
• Recruit, train, and develop assistant managers and hourly team members through orientations, ongoing feedback, clear performance expectations, and performance reviews.
• Create effective management and crew schedules so every day part and sales volume is properly staffed.
• Manage the restaurant P&L to maximize profit by controlling COGS, labor, and controllable (semi-fixed) expenses.
• Maintain compliance with all company standards, policies, and procedures, including food safety and cleanliness.
• Foster a positive, cooperative work environment that supports morale, productivity, and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as requested by the DM.

• 5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick-service or fast-casual.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, inventory, scheduling, and labor costs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and food quality.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [50] lbs
