Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality frozen custard, steaks, burgers, and other menu items according to company standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Upsell menu items by recommending additional products to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and giving accurate change
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies to keep the workspace organized and efficient
Qualifications
- Previous food preparation or food service experience preferred; quick service or fast food restaurant experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory counts
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is beneficial but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment
