Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Enter orders into the Toast POS system
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Ensure the accuracy of orders before delivering them to tables
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about the menu
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of sanitation guidelines for food handling
