Job Summary:
Fred Weber, Inc. has a 95 year history as an aggregate materials producer and heavy civil contractor. We are a national industry leader in full service contract surface and underground mine development and materials processing. We are currently seeking new team members for roles in plant operations and heavy equipment operators at our Crushing Project located in Lead, .
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to all MSHA and Company health and safety policies.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Performs routine inspection and maintenance on equipment such as splicing conveyor belts, changing bearings and greasing equipment.
Position Requirements:
- Experience working at an aggregate processing plant is preferred but not required
- Day and night shift operations
- Willing to work six days a week and overtime as needed
- Good work ethic, self-motivated
- Mechanical ability a plus
- Experience in using a wheel loader, excavator, off-road haul trucks, skid steer loaders and like equipment preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Employees must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
- Employees may be required to wear a respirator
