CDL Rollback Truck Driver

Fred Smith Company is currently seeking an experienced CDL Rollback Truck Driver for our Fleet Division in Raleigh. We are a self-perform heavy civil contractor working in North Carolina. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Job Duties:

• Safely load, secure, and transport company equipment and vehicles using a Rollback Truck.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Follow all company safety policies.
• Strictly adhere all state and local traffic laws.
• Operate equipment/vehicle in an efficient manner and follow instructions of management.
• Follow all monitoring and maintenance requirements of company equipment.
• Follow all DOT and FMCSR requirements.
• Be willing to help with labor tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have excellent driving skills. 
• Previous experience preferred.
• Display proficiency in operation of a Rollback Truck, including its hydraulics, winches, and tie-down equipment.
• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license and current medical examiners certificate.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Drug Screen.
• Local candidates preferred.
