Tech job description and duties
- Applicants must be PTCB or NHA certified
- Applicants must have or applied for licensure in the state of Michigan
- Duties include:
o Data entry for processing prescriptions
o Communicating with physicians and their staff to take verbal prescription orders and clarify prescriptions
o Verifying content of prescriptions to make sure compliant with insurance standards, state and federal laws
o Calculating days supply, dosage and other pharmaceutical calculations
o Counting and labeling prescriptions
o Inventory control
o Processing retail transaction and other cash handling procedures
o Customer service
Fred's Pharmacy offers competitive wages and benefits. We are open M-F 9am - 6pm and Sat 9am -2pm. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays.
