Fred Finch's Jamul House is a crisis stabilization and assessment program for youth with developmental disabilities. It is a joint venture between Fred Finch Youth & Family Services and the San Diego Regional Center. The program has the capacity to serve four participants, male and female, who are in crisis and approved for placement. The program offers: crisis stabilization, behavior modification, clinical assessment, brief treatment, individual and family therapy, and discharge planning services. These stabilization services provide an opportunity for crisis intervention, the development of a comprehensive, individualized supports plan and appropriate after-care resources for each youth.
What You Will Do:
The Residential Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the delivery of safe, trauma informed care to participants while providing direct oversight and support to residential staff. Working in close collaboration with the Residential Manager, the Residential Supervisor oversees daily residential and program operations; recruits, hires, trains, and supervises staff; addresses performance concerns; and ensures adherence to all regulatory and licensing requirements, including physical plant safety standards.
This role also ensures that behavior support plans are implemented consistently to maintain the integrity of the therapeutic milieu. The Residential Supervisor provides direct floor coverage as needed and participates in other duties as required by the Residential Manager, Program Director, and/or to meet operational needs of the program.

- Pay range is between $27.85 - $35.55 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications:
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
- Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters related to programmatic functions.
- Ability to manage and supervise staff.
- Ability to deliver and oversee trauma informed, culturally responsive, and age-appropriate services for participants and families.
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science field or equivalent combination of education and experience One year of relevant work experience is equivalent to one year of a bachelor’s degree.
- Meet the minimum training and experience requirements of CA’s Division of Community Care Licensing.
- Become a Registered Behavior Technician within 60 days of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional for applicable programs
In addition to the education requirement the following experience is required:
- STRTP: a minimum of two (2) two years’ full-time experience in a residential setting or working with the population served.
- Crisis Home: one (1) year of full-time experience in a residential setting or working with the population served.
- Supervisory experience.
- Residential, crisis home or psychiatric hospital experience.
