What You Will Do:
The Clinical Practice Supervisor provides legally mandated clinical supervision and oversight to student clinical interns and pre-licensed mental health professionals working toward licensure with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). This role includes conducting individual, triadic, and/or group supervision and ensuring that all supervision and client care practices adhere to BBS regulations, professional ethical standards, and agency policies. The Clinical Practice Supervisor trains, educates the supervisee on skills and knowledge, acts as a consultant for case-specific issues and crises, mentors them in professional development and self-awareness and collaborates with program and support services.

Pay/Benefits at a Glance:
- Pay range is between $93,330 - $119,115.36 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications:
Experience
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing psychotherapy and/or BBS clinical supervision within the past five (5) years prior to commencing supervision.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision with strong analytical, decision-making, and ethical skills in the practice of psychotherapy.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Minimum of two (2) years holding an active BBS license in California.
- Must currently possess a current, active, and valid California BBS license in good standing (LCSW required). The license must not be under suspension or probation.
- Completion of all BBS-mandated supervision training and required coursework.
- New supervisors starting after January 1, 2022, must complete 15 hours of training within 60 days of commencing supervision.
- All supervisors must complete 6 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in supervision during each renewal cycle.
- Clean driving record: current CA Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 10 days after hired
- Must have access to dependable transportation and minimum liability coverage
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
