DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Provide direct assistance to and report to the Master Sensei
Serve as acting manager when the Master Sensei is unavailable
Train staff, answer questions, and mentor team members
Oversee and assign daily tasks to keep business operations flowing
Manage and support the customer experience, including resolving complaints
Administer and update store processes and support event facilitation
Educate staff on plant care and best practices
Organize teams to receive and process shipments
Support execution of workshops, events, and promotions
Ensure alignment with company core values and standards
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Passion for plants, passion for people
Strong innovative and entrepreneurial attitude
Process-focused with strong follow-through
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preference given for experience or coursework in:
Horticulture, Greenhouse Management, Crop Production, Plant Physiology, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related fieldProven record of sales success and team mentorship
1 year of plant care experience preferred
Flexible schedule to meet seasonal demands
Willing to submit to a background check
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This job may have specific physical demands including, but not limited to:
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, stand for long periods of time, and push/pull heavy loads
Operate machinery with moving parts
Use nursery equipment requiring continuous and repetitive arm, hand, and eye movement

Hourly pay: $14.00 – $18.00 DOE
