JOIN OUR TEAM AS A DELIVERY DRIVER IN SOUTHWEST LAS VEGAS/SPRING VALLEY!
Frē ǝrth Logistics is seeking committed & reliable drivers with a great attitude and excellent work ethic to deliver packages to customers in the 89113, 89148 & 89178 areas of Las Vegas.
Open Positions:
- Full time positions are available for drivers with their own cargo van or the use of a company van.
- Part time positions are open for drivers with a Minivan or large SUV.
Pay:
- Your Own Cargo Van: $1.85 per stop
- Company Van: $1.70 per stop
- Minivan/SUV: $1.70 per stop
Schedule:
- 5 & 6 Day schedules available, Sunday through Saturday
Requirements:
- Commit to a regular work schedule 5 or 6 days per week for full time positions.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of Nevada with an excellent motor vehicle driving record and auto insurance.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driver experience in a cargo van or larger.
- Ability to safely lift/carry/move up to 75lbs; 150 lbs. with hand truck assistance.
- Ability to climb up and down stairs multiple times per day.
- Own a reliable smartphone that can be utilized for business purposes.
Daily Duties:
- Deliver packages to between 110 and 130 stops per day, including homes, apartments, and businesses.
- Receive, organize, and load packages of varying size and weight as assigned each workday.
- Safely operate and navigate your vehicle in various road and weather conditions. Follow all traffic laws including speed limits and posted signage while adhering to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
- Use smartphone for scanning packages, receiving delivery information, GPS navigation, managing delivery progress, conducting administrative requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and deliver packages in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain a friendly and enthusiastic attitude at all times.
- Effectively communicate with the support team in a timely manner when there are delivery or customer issues.
Important to Note:
- Federal and state taxes are not withheld from weekly pay and will be the driver’s responsibility for independent contractor positions.
- Expenses including fuel, vehicle maintenance, and smart phone service are the driver’s responsibility for independent contractor positions.
