Fabricator – Night Shift
Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30PM-4:00AM (Three-day weekends!)

Frazier Industrial Company is a leading manufacturer of industrial racking systems. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fabrication Machinist to join our Idaho Falls fabrication shop. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Overtime may be required as production demands dictate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Load feed mechanisms by lifting and positioning raw materials.
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Operate and monitor machining processes including drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing.
- Inspect parts and take precise measurements to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary machine adjustments, including reprogramming controls and replacing or sharpening tools.
- Maintain required production records and generate written reports as needed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, follow manufacturer guidelines, and coordinate repairs when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld patterns.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure to 1/16" increments.
- Ability to read and understand process, procedure, and instruction manuals.
- Strong math skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, and working with fractions and decimals.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Work is performed in a production environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, heavy equipment, and machinery.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motion.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 30 lbs frequently, and up to 20 lbs constantly.
- Must be able to use hands, fingers, and arms to perform repetitive tasks, operate machinery, handle materials, and manipulate tools required for the position.
