We're a small, close-knit team based in Raleigh, NC, and we're looking for an Architectural Drafter who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to exceptional custom residential projects from concept through construction documentation. What You'll Do
- Produce Construction Documents: Develop clear, accurate, and buildable construction documents with a high level of attention to detail.
- Support Design Development: Collaborate with project managers and designers to refine plans, solve design challenges, and maintain design intent throughout the project.
- Create 3D Models and Visualizations: Build BIM models and create renderings that help communicate design ideas to clients and the team.
- Execute Revisions: Incorporate redlines and drawing updates efficiently while maintaining drawing quality and consistency.
- Stay Organized: Maintain drawing sets, models, and project files while balancing multiple active projects.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience preparing construction documents for residential projects.
- A degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A genuine passion for residential design and a desire to understand the craft of home design.
- Familiarity with residential construction methods, wood-framed construction, and construction documentation standards.
- Experience producing floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and other construction documentation with accuracy and consistency.
- Experience with BIM software. Archicad and Revit experience is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment.
- A coachable attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

This is a full-time, in-studio position based in Raleigh, North Carolina. A portfolio demonstrating residential project experience, construction documentation, and technical drafting skills is encouraged with all applications.
