You will be responsible for operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you’ll help maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed.Essential Job DutiesCustomer Service: Greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service.Transaction Handling: Accurately process cash, credit, check, EBT, and other forms of payment.Register Operations: Memorize product codes, manage cash drawer, and ensure accurate transactions.Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sanitizing work surfaces and keeping the floor clear of debris.Product Knowledge: Stay informed on products and be able to assist customers with their purchases.Adherence to Policies: Follow all company policies, safety standards, and local, state, and federal regulations.Bagging: Safely and efficiently bag customer orders.Other Duties: Handle returns, restock merchandise, and assist with janitorial duties as needed.QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent.Strong communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a positive attitude.Preferred:Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role.Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.Ability to handle high-stress situations and large volumes of customers.Work HoursThis position requires availability during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the needs of the store.CompensationPay frequency: WeeklyCompetitive hourly wage, based on experience.Equal Opportunity EmployerFrazier Farms Market is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer (AAP).
