Primary Responsibilities
Base qualifications

Primary Responsibilities
- Conforming with company safety regulations to produce a safe working environment and quality product.
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- Constructing base templates if necessary.
- Measuring and marking out, routing, cutting and bending metals.
- Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, torches, welders, brakes, and shears.
- Double-checking design specifications before starting each job.
- Fabricating and constructing metal/wood components with such methods as welding, gluing, or fastening
- Knowledge of mig welding, tig welding, or laser welding.
- Fabrication may include grinding and finishing. Assembly may be required on finished products.
- Performing quality checks on completed products.
- Operating forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the shop
- Completing jobs timely and accurately.
- Clocking in and out of each task and applying used raw materials to jobs.
- Must maintain all equipment and notify supervisor when issues arise or service is needed
