Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations and company policies on serving alcohol.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including nightclubs, banquets, or catering events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with food handling and food safety protocols is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize service during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales tracking, and accurate order processing.
- Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing and mixing cocktails; knowledge of food industry standards is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions.
