Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
- Assist with bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware to maintain a clean dining area
- Support servers with food delivery and basic service tasks when needed
- Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including floors, chairs, and countertops, following sanitation standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or equipment using safe lifting practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling and sanitation of dishes and utensils
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to sanitation standards
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and interact courteously with guests
- Knowledge of table setting, food handling, and basic catering procedures is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn are essential for success in this role
