Dedicated Runs from Erlanger KY to Chicago IL - Home Weekly (Every Other Day)
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, for the purpose of transporting goods to designated locations.
- Perform route driving while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations..
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Utilize forklifts as needed for loading and unloading cargo.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with tractor-trailer or refrigerated trailer experience.
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools.
- Ability to load and unload cargo safely; experience with forklifts is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
