Schedule: Monday-Friday (weekends as needed)
Hours:7am-4pm (hours may very at times for production needs)

Essential Functions:
- Direct and manage Plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping & receiving
- Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to ensure that total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Must have thorough understanding of all subordinate positions
- Evaluate performance of subordinates in assigned positions
- Make purchases for parts and supplies without approval. May issue purchase orders for capital acquisitions only with the approval of the Director of Operations
- Organize the workflow of the production plant, keeping in mind the skills of each employee as tasks are assigned
- Develop and write the position or job description of each and every subordinate position and ensuring that the position is filled by qualified people and well understood by them
- Ensure that production is completed in a timely manner in order to meet inventory needs
- Work in cooperation with the Director of Operations in the maintenance of profit and the control of expenses
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, with input from management, to assure that the organization is meeting the predetermined levels of profit and standard cost levels for production
- Post all information and data gathered for the proper control purposes of productivity, production, and pay
- Maintain and provide security for all company property such as personnel, building, grounds, equipment, and product
- Dispatch personnel and equipment in emergency and non-emergencies using established company protocols
- Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses
- Maintain a positive cooperative working relationship with customers, community and those persons superior or subordinate to this position, as well as peers
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields or 5-year plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of company operating systems, budget and financial statements
- Must have a working knowledge of plastic products relating to the manufacture of Fratco products
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement program and procedures required
- Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combi- nation of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs., consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
- Must be able to talk, hear, listen and speak English clearly
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Safety glasses must be worn in the production plant at all times for your protection
- Cut Level 2-3 gloves must be wore with sharp hand tools.
- Hot Gloves must be worn when working with 400-degree molted materials
- Hearing Protection is to be worn in all production areas
