We’re one of the area’s top Business Technology Firms and we’re looking for our next Set Up Technician. We are seeking a motivated person with excellent hands-on abilities with testing, assembling, and troubleshooting equipment and most importantly, someone who is ready to be part of a winning team.
You’ll work from our comfortable offices located in Reading, PA and will be responsible for setting up new copier equipment and refurbishing used equipment for resale.
The Set Up Technician Position:
- Received straight order
- Remove all packing material, install various options, add toner and developer
- Test and adjust equipment to obtain best copy quality
- Program machine will all connectivity info and confirm setting and functionality.
- Complete required paperwork and prepare equipment for delivery to customer
- Rebuild used Sharp and Canon copiers and multifunctional equipment to manufacturers specifications and Fraser’s guidelines.
- Required to rebuild certain individual machine units (developer, fuser, etc.) on an as needed basis to restock parts inventory
- Thoroughly test all equipment and have this equipment tested by a supervisor before it is wrapped for shipment.
- Disassemble, reassemble, test, and adjust equipment
- Check over and clear each component and replace any worn parts
- Complete required paperwork and prepare equipment for delivery to customer
- Receive equipment which customers “carry in’ for service

Qualifications:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
- Tech School or Military Electronic Experience preferred
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Lift, push, pull up to 30 pounds frequently up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work under stress
- Ability to deal with competing priorities
- Valid driver’s license required, less that 5% of time in travel
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
Salary : $15 - $19
