4th grade teaching position

Fraser Valley Elementary is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate teacher to join our team. Teachers at FVE have both a daily planning time and a collaborative team time.

General responsibilities include developing lesson plans aligned to state standards, preparing and delivering lessons, differentiating instruction to meet individual learning needs, evaluating student performance, adjusting instruction to meet student needs, meeting with and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members, and ensuring high student outcomes.

4th grade utilizes Bridges in Mathematics and Open Court Literacy as core learning resources.

Use of data to inform and adjust instruction, focus on student agency and comprehension of reading, writing, math, social studies and health.

Qualifications:

Appropriate Colorado teaching license – elementary certification

Working Environment:

Fraser Valley Elementary School is located in Fraser, Colorado, 85 miles NW of Denver and 5 miles from the Winter Park Ski area. School is in session Monday – Thursday from 7:15. – 4:15 p.m. FVE has approximately 230 students in grades k-5 and serves the communities of Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash, Granby, Grand Lake, Hot Sulphur Springs, and beyond.

Compensation: 25-26 Certified Salary Schedule & Full Insurance and benefits offered by EGSD

Salary : $50,000 - $89,250
