Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Media Planner (must have media planning experience) with 1–2 years of media planning experience and exposure to both print and digital media. This role will support the development and execution of integrated media plans across traditional media (TV, Radio, Print, OOH) and online media (digital, social and search channels) while assisting with campaign setup, vendor coordination, and financial reconciliation. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to grow in media strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Media Planning & Strategy Support
o Assist in developing media recommendations across print, digital, and social media based on campaign objectives, target audiences, and budgets.
o Compile research on audiences, markets, and media opportunities to support planning decisions.
o Prepare media flowcharts, schedules, and budget allocations.
o Support post-buy analysis and performance reporting.
· Media Buying & Execution Support
o Create and process insertion orders (IOs) and media authorizations.
o Coordinate traffic materials and creative delivery with vendors and internal teams.
o Ensure accurate setup of campaigns in ad platforms and vendor systems.
o Monitor campaign pacing and flag issues or discrepancies.
· Vendor & Financial Coordination
o Maintain communication with media vendors regarding placements, specs, and deadlines.
o Track invoices and assist with billing reconciliation against IOs and media plans.
o Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal accounting teams.
o Maintain organized records of contracts, IOs, and billing documentation.
· Administrative & Team Support
o Maintain accurate media schedules, budgets, and status reports.
o Support senior planners with presentations and client-ready materials.
o Assist with internal process improvements and documentation.
Qualifications
o 1–2 years of experience in media planning, media buying, or media coordination roles.
o Experience or familiarity with print and digital media; social media exposure preferred.
o Basic understanding of media metrics (impressions, CPM, reach, frequency, CTR).
o Experience creating or managing insertion orders and trafficking materials is a plus.
o Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with media planning tools or ad platforms is a plus.
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Clear written and verbal communication skills.
