Commercial Cleaning Technician

Fraser Commercial Services is hiring a full time commercial cleaning technician for our New London area team. We are a family run, veteran owned company and we have been cleaning commercial buildings in Connecticut since 1987.

This job is a mix of everything we do. Some days you will be doing regular cleaning in offices and commercial buildings. Other days you will be stripping and waxing floors, shampooing carpets, and cleaning windows. You will work in different buildings around the area and help cover shifts when the team needs it. No two days are the same.

Never done this kind of work before? That is completely fine. We will train you from scratch, start to finish, on the clock. You will learn every machine and every method side by side with an experienced tech until you can do it on your own. We supply all the equipment and all the products. If you are dependable, show up on time, and take pride in doing a job right, we will teach you everything else.

What you will do:

- General commercial cleaning: offices, restrooms, break rooms, trash, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping

- Strip, wax, scrub, and burnish commercial floors

- Shampoo and extract carpets

- Clean windows and glass, inside and out

- Cover open shifts and call outs so our customers never notice a gap

- Once you know the job, help show new teammates the ropes

- Keep the equipment clean and ready for the next job

What we are looking for:

- Dependable and on time. This matters more to us than experience

- Able to work day and evening hours, 40 hours a week

- Able to do physical work: standing, bending, lifting, pushing machines

- Friendly and professional around our customers

- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus, not required

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. You will drive between sites

- Able to pass a background check
